The viability scan is particularly useful for women who are unsure of the date of their last period, or who are experiencing pain or bleeding during the pregnancy. It is also helpful for those who require early reassurance for any reason or have had a previous miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy.
Importantly the early pregnancy ultrasound scan can:
  • Confirm that the baby is developing appropriately

  • Identify a multiple pregnancy
